Epilogue

I really admire Phil's work and dedication to the hobby. He didn't have the reference books and all the information on the internet we have available to us today. All he had was a love of old lures and a willingness to pass along the knowledge he accquired with a lot of hard work.
I learned about Phil's work at the Peoria National through his daughter, Peggy Hannan, who told me of his notebook and offered to share the information. I am very grateful to her for allowing me to preserve her father's work and pass it on to suceeding generations of avid Vamp collectors.
