Folk Art attributed to Joe Pepper of Rome, NY.

Here's the story of these lures from Dan. "About the Peppers which I know is a story... I attended the first Rochester NY show maybe 8-10 years ago now, not sure how long ago now, and when we were packing up, a fellow approached me and asked me if I wanted to buy his collection. He had been out of the club for six years or so and his new wife wanted nothing to do with old tackle. Ryan and I followed him home, 5 miles from the show, and the following year I bought his collection. In it were the "Pepper Lures." I asked him where he got them and he said a guy in the Finger Lakes had a tackle shop and he finally was able to buy his Shop decorations when he retired. The shop owner told him a guy from Rome NY, Joe Pepper, was his friend and vacationed there in a trailer and would give them to him. Good story huh? Well that is the story so enjoy the fantastication of it all." Story or not they're pretty darn cool..!!!! Thanks again Dan...!!!
